	Dr. Eric Hurtte D.M.D., originally from Taylorville, Illinois, has a wide range of experience with patients ranging in age from 3 weeks old to 105 years old. After attending Eastern Illinois University, where he met his wife, he went on to graduate from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr. Hurtte is a member of the American Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society and the Appliance Therapy Group. He is also a certified provider of Invisalign.
	Melissa the princess from Oklahoma!  I have been a dental assistant for 21 years.  I assist the doctor in all procedures, but I especially enjoy Orthodontics and changing kids smiles! My husband and I moved here in the summer of 2008 due to his job.  Missouri is growing on us, but we really do miss our families.  I was lucky enough to find a great job here at Boardwalk Family Dental.  I have great co-workers and a pretty awesome boss too!
	Hi, my name is Diane! I am the newest member of the team at Boardwalk Family Dental. I have worked the front desk in the dental field since March of 2001.  I love what I do and I am really excited to be working with such great people. I live in Winfield with my husband.  We have a daughter who graduated college this year and a son who is beginning his 4th year of college.  I really enjoy coming to work at Boardwalk Family Dental and I am looking forward to meeting all of the patients.
	My name is Kelly and I am the Business Manager here at BFD.  I have been in the dental field for 14 years and I love what I do.  I have been with BFD since July 2009 and it's a wonderful place to work. I live in St. Peters with my husband and I have four children who keep me very busy outside the office with school, sports, girl scouts and more.
	Hi, I'm Tija!  I have been a dental assistant for 29 years now! (wow, can't believe I just said that)  I live in East Alton, Illinois, where I had originally met Dr. Eric at a children's clinic we both worked at.  Why do I drive an hour every day to work you ask (because trust me, you will)?  Because I have the world's best boss!  I have two great boys, one of whom lives in Kentucky and the other is a Junior in High School.  I'm an animal lover who enjoys decorating, traveling and teeth!! I am the office manager here at Boardwalk.  I graduated from Missouri College and since then continue to attend many continuing education courses.  I am an expanded functions dental assistant, which means I can do many "extra" things that a dental assistant can't do.  The more I learn, the more I love it....and trust me, after 29 years there is still so much to learn!  I opened this office with Dr. Eric in the fall of 2003.  We have grown from just two chairs to six, and eventually to 8!  We truly love what we do here.  We have a great team and a wonderful boss, so it's not even like work!
	My name is Kirsten.  I graduated dental hygiene school at St. Louis Community College in May of 2005.  I have been a member of the Boardwalk Family since October of that year.  Every year I take continuing education classes to keep up with the latest technology and growing dental industry. I just recently got married and moved into a new house.  I grew up on a farm and lived in the same house my whole life, so it's been an adjustment!  We have no children yet...just a cat who is our baby! Boardwalk Family Dental is my home away from home and I wouldn't have it any other way!
	My name is Brenda and I am a Dental Hygienist.  I have been a practicing hygienist since I graduated from SLCC in 1993.  I am very passionate about my profession.  A person's smile is their greatest gift to the world, so make sure it is a clean, healthy one.  Dentistry is continually evolving, so I further my education with the most current methodology in order to provide quality care for our patients. I am a proud Mom of two terrific kids, Ryan - 13 and Katy - 8.  They are not as thrilled about my choice of professions, as it restricts their consumption of soda and candy, not to mention the incessant question, "Have you brushed your teeth?"  They love coming to see Dr. Eric and the staff.  We make routine cleanings anything but routine because we love what we do and who we do it for.
	Hi!  My name is Kimberly.  I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to St. Louis in 1989.  I worked as a dental assistant for several years, then decided to go to dental hygiene school which I graduated in 1994.  My education continues with courses taken to keep up with all the latest dental trends and technologies.  I am grateful to have such a rewarding career, and love being a part of the awesome Boardwalk Team! I have one amazing son Zach; an equally amazing boyfriend Patrick, and a precious new puppy Piper.
	Hi, my name is Katie!  I grew up in Ballwin, MO and still live in the area.  I graduated from Advanced Dental Careers in September of 2008.  After doing my internship here at Boardwalk I was given the greatest opportunity to be a part of the Boardwalk Family.  I enjoy coming to work everyday and learning everything that I can to better myself as a growing assistant. I ensure that procedures are followed through, instruments and rooms are kept clean and in excellent condition.  Most importantly, that all of our patients walk out of here happy with a big smile.  I am very blessed to be able to be here at Boardwalk and I hope to see you soon!
